Residential
After detoxification, the next step is typically a 28 day stay in residential treatment.
Studies show that a gradual integration back to home environment with a strong support system increases treatment outcomes. Additionally, sober living, follow up with primary care physicians for medication management and Intensive Outpatient therapy are recommended post discharge.

Intensive Outpatient / Outpatient
The step down post inpatient treatment. With monitored random weekly drug screening, one stop shop with counselors, medication management, an environment to cultivate structure and growth.

Intensive Outpatient
24 group sessions over the course of 8 weeks, 3 session a week focusing primarily on early Recovery Skills, Individual Counseling, Relapse Prevention, Med Management and Pro Social Awareness.

Outpatient
(M.R.T) Moral Reconation Therapy a 16 week program designed for the incarceration population, (H.E.A.T.) Habilitation, Empowerment, Accountability, Therapy a 9-month program geared towards specifically the demographic of black adult males. Tentatively planned programs for the future will be Anger Management, Trauma Focus, Men/Women's Life Skills, Parenting Classes.

12 Step Models
We understand that each patient has unique needs. While many clients find value in 12-step fellow, participation is not mandatory. We create individualized treatment plans and offer support for alternative options. Our clinical team facilitates sessions to discuss these alternatives, clients are informed and supported. For those choosing a 12-step approach we provide resources like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
Compulsive Gambling
Here at Heartland Recovery, we provide support for individuals battling gambling addiction. Our team includes a Certified Compulsive Gambling Counselor who is dedicated to assessing your needs and integrating specialized counseling into your treatment plan for a holistic recovery journey.
Art Expression
Art expression is a therapeutic tool for those recovering from substance abuse, allowing safe exploration of emotions. At Heartland Recovery, we help clients access repressed feelings and insights into their addictions through creativity.
